Foxes do not like fighting and would prefer to scare the predator away. The fox will also adopt a defensive posture to let the other animal know they are willing to fight. Whenever they feel threatened, growling at a predator may scare them off, giving the fox time to escape. Foxes typically bark when they are suddenly surprised, and this sound will alert other foxes in the area that there is something amiss. The fact that everything has to be 100% on the length of the shift linkage, since there’s no stabilizer bar, means that we cannot complete the linkage 100% before shipping. We offer Avid s solid mount kit for the EG/DC chassis if you need them. Since there is no longer a stabilizer bar on the shift linkage, the engine can not move or it will try to pull the shifter out of gear. This setup requires 100% solid motor mounts for it to work right. You will then install the 4 8mm bolts from inside the car, they will thread directly into the bracket. Then you will mark the 4 holes on the front side of the bracket and drill the chassis. The assembly slides up from the bottom of the car and you use the 2 factory 8mm bolt holes in the chassis that the OEM shift linkage bolted to. The hole in the chassis will need to be opened up slightly for the G Force shifter to fit through. ![]() The installation involves removing the old shifter and linkage assembly completely. The kits use high quality universal joints on the linkage and allow for adjustment in the rotation of the linkage once fully assembled. The kits we’ve put together allow as bolt in of an installation as possible. The 1-2-1 shift generally does a lot of damage! This helps prevent shifting from 2nd to 5th, but allows you to push all the way to the right on the 2-3 shift to minimize the chance of shifting back into 1st from 2nd. In order to get into the 5/R gate, you have to push down and over on the shifter. It has a spring inside that pushes the shift lever towards the 5/R gate.
